I cannot wait to get my hands on Modernist Cuisine at Home this fall. It’s still steep at $140, but way more affordable than the original $600, five-volume Modernist Cuisine. It’ll be a good reward to myself for managing to resist dropping the six Benjamins on the original.
Or, y’know, a good wedding present if anyone is interested.
